Job Placement & Re-deployment
With the right care and support the vast majority of people who suffer a work-related illness or injury make a successful return to their workplace.
However, for a significant minority, a return to their pre-injury workplace isn't possible. This can lead to people being caught in 'compensation limbo'-costing the community millions of dollars and leaving the unemployed worker at risk of developing psychological complications.
Job Placement and re-deployment programs help these injured workers find new jobs.
Work Solutions in South Australia recently developed and launched an innovative job placement program-Job Connect. This saw us quickly establish ourselves as market leaders achieving a success rate of more than 50%, well above the market average of around 15%.
The success of Job Connect is derived from the completeness of the package-we are there from day one, we use a multi-disciplinary team, we establish clear goals aimed at real jobs, and we work in partnerships with the worker.
In some states, Work Solutions provides vocational rehabilitation services under the DEEWR framework.
